Plastic Surgeon
Christina Taki
Plastic Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgeon Christina Taki graduated from the School of Medicine of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 1994.
During her studies she participated in the Erasmus programs, with the result that a large part of her studies has been completed at the Catholic University of Louvain (Université Catholique de Louvain, UCL) and the University of Brussels (Université Libre de Bruxelles, ULB).
After completing her studies, she attended two years of general surgery at the KAT Regional Hospital (1996 – 1998, Director A. Ioannidis).
Then, she moved to Plastic Surgery in Brussels at the Brugmann University Hospital, Institut Bordet and Hopital Erasme for one year (1998 – 1999, Director Prof. Albert Demey, Prof. M. Lejour) where he worked as a full-time resident plastic surgeon.
During her stay in Brussels, she obtained the Postgraduate Diploma in Microsurgery from the University of Brussels (ULB) and successfully participated in the examinations of the College of Plastic Surgeons of Belgium.
The experience (obtained in Plastic Surgery in Brussels) was completed with full cycles – thorough study seminars in all areas of Plastic Surgery and participation in conferences.
After Brussels, he worked at the University Hospital of the city of Bordeaux (Université de Bordeaux 2) for two years.
In Bordeaux she specialized in Microsurgery and hand repairs (diseases, injuries), alongside Professors Jacques Baudet and Dominique Martin.
At the same time, she obtained the Master's Diploma on the flaps of Plastic Surgery and successfully presented, as part of the Diploma, the Doctoral Thesis on "The Blood Supply of the Innominate Temporal Fascia" at the Congress of Plastic Surgery in Lyon, France (May 2001) .
During her stay in Bordeaux, she attended and participated in many conferences, as well as training courses on the breast and new surgical techniques.
In 2001 he returned to Greece and to the General State Hospital G. Gennimatas.
At G. Gennimatas (Prof. Ioannovich), he specialized in burns and their treatment. Since 2004, he maintains a Plastic Surgery clinic in the center of Athens.
Recently, it was co-located with the Surgery Ophthalmology practice of Alexandros Takis.
From 2006 to 2013 she was the scientific manager at the Plastic Surgery clinic of Genesis Athens and now she is a scientific associate of the Metropolitan Hospital.
